More than 25 years ago, when ceramic was still handmade, our activity started with a clear goal: growing by adapting us to the market demands.
Starting as a family business, our activity headed in the direction of industrial production of high quality ceramic products. Consequently, in 1997 Cerámica La Escandella was created, becoming in merely 10 years in one of Europe's leading clay roof tile manufactures.
La Escandella is thoroughly committed to the innovation and development of our products; this is what, we strongly believe, makes the company stand out from others.
La Escandella boast one of the largest production capacity of clay roof tiles of the world with an onsite production capacity of over 100 million tiles per year. All this together with our high finishing quality and variety has allowed us along these years to gain access to the international markets which entrust us with the manufacture of their most ambitious projects.
Therefore, La Escandella is currently active in over 60 countries worldwide.
This is and has always been possible thanks to the effort and enthusiasm of the people working and collaborating with La Escandella, as well as to hundreds of clients and companies worldwide that have supported and placed their confidence in us along these years making our project come true.
